Reservations
Our Policies
Check-In:
- Standard Check-In time is between 3:30 PM and 5:30 PM.
- Please inquire at booking if you require a late Check-In.
- Early arrivals may leave their luggage at the Cottage and return after 3:30 PM, if desired.
Check-Out:
- Standard Check-Out is between 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM.
Minimum Stays:
We gladly accept reservations for 1 or more nights, Sunday through Thursday, at the rates posted on the Rooms and Rates page. For weekends, we require a minimum 2-night stay.
Deposit:
All reservations require a phoned-in credit-card deposit of the equivalent of one night's stay, or one-third of the booking, whichever is greater.
Once this is done, your reserved night(s) will show up on our website, on the Reservations Calendar page.
Reservations are based upon an occupancy of one or two persons per room.
Your credit card will not be charged when the deposit is placed, you will only be charged when paying for your stay
(please see exceptions to this under the Rescheduling & Cancellations heading, below).
Credit Cards Accepted
MasterCard and VISA; you can give us your information when we speak on the phone to confirm your reservation.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
We recognize unforeseeable events sometimes arise that require our guests to reschedule or cancel reservations. We do everything we can to accommodate
those requests, without imposing unacceptable financial strains on our business. Therefore, we observe the following policies on rescheduling and canceling
reservations:
- Requests to reschedule or cancel reservations at least 14 days before scheduled arrival date are accepted without penalty.
- Rescheduling and cancellations with less than 14 days advance notice are charged the agreed rate, and a gift certificate is issued for later use (see below).
- Cancellations the same day as the reservations and "no shows" are charged the full rate and no gift certificates will be issued.
- Cancellation with less than 14 days notice must be made by telephone: 1-(902) 676-2473
Redemption of Gift Certificates
Gift certificates issued as a result of rescheduling or early cancellation (at least 14 days before your scheduled arrival date) will be good for one re-booking
for those specific rooms; re-bookings are subject to availability, please check with us.
Children/ Extra Persons
Children are welcome at Robinson's Homestead Getaway; please let us know the age range of the children who will be joining you and what your/ their
needs are, and we will be happy to provide extra comforts for them such as a play-pen, stroller, crib, cot, etc. as needed and as available.
We impose a $25 Extra Person Charge for each person over the stated occupancy ability of the Cottage (total sleeping space includes two queen-size beds,
three double beds, two bed chesterfields, one crib/toddler bed).
Pets
Pets are allowed; again, please specify at the time of booking your reservation what type of pet(s) you will be bringing with you, and we will try to
accommodate.
Smoking
Robinson's Homestead Getaway is a non-smoking environment; thank you for respecting this.
Parking
Private driveway offers ample parking space for Homestead Getaway guests.
